"Holy Week is a time to pause, to look, and to fix our eyes on Jesus, “the founder and perfecter of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2). It is a time to be still, to reflect deeply, and to allow the truth of the gospel to rekindle our love for Him. This devotional has been written to help us do just that—to fix our gaze upon Christ in the days leading up to Easter. The theme comes from Hebrews 12:3, which exhorts us: “Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.”
As we journey through Holy Week, we will meditate on key passages from Hebrews that exalt Christ—His person, His priesthood, His sacrifice, and His victory. Each day’s reading will guide us to consider Him, to behold Him in His suffering and triumph, and to worship Him with renewed awe."
